Mental Energy is an estimate based on your recent interaction patterns during computer use. It is not a measurement of subjective tiredness and does not diagnose fatigue.
The metric may differ from how you feel for several reasons:
Personalisation is still in progress
During the first days of use, Advancify learns your typical interaction patterns. Until the relevant metric is calibrated, estimates may be less representative of your normal work style.
Changes may appear before you notice them
Advancify may detect changes in interaction patterns or sustained periods of Intense Cognitive Load before you consciously notice a reduction in your ability to maintain the same work pace.
Mental Energy and subjective tiredness are different concepts
You may feel alert while the metric indicates that maintaining the same level of sustained screen-based work could become more demanding.
Use the metric as an informational signal rather than an instruction or medical conclusion. As Advancify learns your typical work patterns, the estimate may become more representative over time.
